A discovery flight is an introductory lesson with a certificated flight instructor. You will help with the preflight, and once airborne the instructor will let you handle the controls when it is safe. It is a real lesson — the time can be logged if you continue training — and it is the standard, low-commitment way to find out whether flying is for you.
Book a discovery flight, then have a consultation about your goals and schedule. From there we set a training cadence, you begin the syllabus, and we recommend scheduling your FAA medical exam early — before you have invested heavily — so any surprises surface first.
